Event narrative

The Jasper County 911 Center reported that several trees were blown down along Post and Liberty Church Roads.

Wider weather episode

The mid-level low across the Southeast Coast drifted into south Georgia on the 18th, stalled, and began to dissipate. This continued to bring tropical moisture into the area. Much like the past couple of days, numerous thunderstorms developed during the afternoon but without the influence of the surface trough from the 17th that had dissipated, fewer storms were able to reach severe levels. Those that did occurred over north Georgia and resulted in reports of wind damage.
