Weak low pressure moved from the Tennessee Valley on the morning of the 18th to just south of Long Island on the morning of the 19th. Heavy snow fell during the afternoon of the 18th, changed to freezing rain during the evening of the 18th, and then changed to rain during the pre-dawn hours of the 19th.
