The public reported nickel sized hail in Wrens.

An upper ridge was in place over the Southeast on the 21s, with an upper low over southeast Georgia and northeast Florida. A very unstable airmass remained in place, and afternoon showers and thunderstorms developed across the state. A couple were strong, and one was able to reach severe levels with large hail.
