The Dooly County Sheriff's Office reported dime sized hail in Vienna.

Another shortwave moved into the Southeast on the afternoon of the 24th. Continued ample Gulf and Atlantic moisture was in place, and thus numerous showers and thunderstorms developed during the afternoon and evening hours. There was enough instability in place for some of these to become severe with damaging winds.
