Winds gusting 70 mph or higher were reported at False Pass, Cold Bay and King Cove. The highest gust was 72 MPH at False Pass. No reports of damage or injuries.

Wider weather episode

A rapidly strengthening North Pacific low moved across the Alaska Peninsula into Bristol Bay on October 24th. As this low approached the Alaska Peninsula it produced strong Southeasterly winds across the region.
