The public reported 6.3 inches of snow in Cranford. The NJ Department of Transportation (DOT) also reported 5.5 inches of snow in Union.

An intensifying low pressure system taking shape over the lower Mississippi Valley the morning of Saturday the 14th moved to a position south of Long Island by the morning of the 15th, bringing heavy snow and some freezing rain to parts of Northeast New Jersey.
