An arctic front moved into Utah from Wyoming on this morning. High Winds from the northeast caused minor damage in northern Utah. The main problems were downed trees and power outages. The local ski resorts again had to close their lift operations during the windy conditions. Some peak wind gusts that were measured around the state included: Jupiter Peak in Park City at 81 mph, Powder Mountain at 90 mph, Bountiful and Salt Lake City at 60 mph.
