Heavy snow fell in the northeast foothills as well as the northern mountains and east of the Continental Divide and Urban Corridor as a spring snowstorm storm struck the area. Snowfall totals generally ranged from 12 to 22 inches in the mountains and foothills with 4 to 12 inches along the Urban corridor.Snowfall totals included: 22.5 inches 8 miles west of Conifer, 17 inches at Berthoud Pass, 14 inches at Silver Spruce Ranch, 13 inches at Coal Creek Canyon, 12 inches near Blackhawk, Eldora, Genessee Larkspur, Loveland Ski Area and Winter Park, 11 inches at Allens Park and A-Basin, 10 inches near Evergreen, 9 miles northwest of Livermore and Nederland, 9 inches at Lakewood and Loveland Ski Area, 8 inches in Broomfield, northwest Denver and near Elizabeth. Snowfall amounts ranged from 4 to 7 inches over the rest of the foothills as well as Downtown Denver and its western and southern suburbs.
