Cold High Pressure building over Interior Alaska with Low Pressure well north of the Arctic Coast produced winds of 20 mph over the eastern Arctic Coast in ambient air temperatures in the 30s below. As the high built, a weather front moved north over the Bering Sea causing winds over Zone 3 to increase in ambient air temperatures of 25 to 35 below ...before clouds from the front moved in and warmed temperatures on the 22nd.
