The Peach County Emergency Manager reported 20-30 pecan trees uprooted near Valley View Drive and State Highway 96. Power lines were also blown down in the area and light standards were blown down at the Peach County High School baseball field.

A short wave moving out of the central plains into the Tennessee Valley combined with strong instability and moderate shear in the lower and middle levels of the atmosphere to produce widespread severe thunderstorms with damaging winds and large hail across central Georgia.
