Numerous trees and power lines were blown down in Alma. The time of damage was based on radar.

Mean layer high pressure was southeast of the Florida peninsula which focused the best sea breeze convergence along and west of Highway 95. Dry air remained in the mid levels which limited convective coverage, but also supported strong wind gusts in storms.
