The public reported several branches as well as a few small trees blown down.
Wider weather episode
An upper level low was situated over the Great Lakes region. A disturbance moved through the area, helping kick off convection in the early afternoon near the surface-based stationary front. High precipitable waters and limited bulk shear created a good setup for wet microbursts, with some storms producing locally significant wind gusts.
