Local law enforcement reported trees down on Highway 421 north of Bedford.

Warm moist air originating in the Gulf of Mexico interacted with a stationary boundary across central Kentucky, resulting in several rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening hours April 26 and April 27. Damaging winds, large hail and flooding were the primary impacts.
