A cold front interacting with a highly unstable airmass triggered severe thunderstorms across east-central and southeast Illinois during the afternoon of June 15th. The storms mainly impacted locations along and south of a Paris...to Mattoon...to Shelbyville line. Numerous trees and power lines were blown down and hail up to the size of quarters was reported.
