The Macon County Emergency Manager reported multiple trees blown down across the county including on Jake Smith Road, at the intersection of Highways 127 and 128, and on Bryant Hill Road.

A very moist and moderately unstable airmass over the region, combined with strong daytime heating and a series of weak short waves moving over the state, resulted in scattered severe thunderstorms each afternoon and evening.
