Event narrative

Strong thunderstorm winds in Logan knocked over a tree that was a foot in diameter and approximately 50 feet tall. This tree fell onto a house and knocked out power in a 3 block radius.

A strong and moist Pacific storm brought widespread precipitation and severe weather to Utah. Two tornadoes were reported on September 22, and other significant impacts included strong gusty winds, large hail, and widespread flash flooding.
