CoCoRaHS and COOP reports showed 0.8 to 1.0 inch of snow measured 3 miles south-southwest of Byrdstown and in Byrdstown.

Two waves of light snow fell across Middle Tennessee on Thursday, January 5 and again on Friday, January 6. The first wave on January 5 mainly affected areas along and north of I-40, while the second wave was along and south of I-40. Snow totals reached up to 3 inches in some areas.
