Northerly long periods swell generated breaking wave heights between 10 and 14 feet. A 58 years old experience surfer suffered a heart complication while surfing and drowned near las Marias Beach. The Coast Guard tried to rescue him, but the efforts were negative. A NWS Southern Region For-The-Record Report was issued after the event. A Rip Current Statements and a High Surf Advisory were out.
