Public and spotter reported quarter size hail from south of Carnesville to the Franklin Springs area.

Wider weather episode

An isolated severe thunderstorm producing large hail moved into northeast Georgia during the late evening. It quickly evolved into a larger cluster that produced intense straight line winds over portions of Hart County before moving into South Carolina.
