The Evans County 911 Call Center reported a large pine tree down across Daisy Nevils Highway.

Moderately unstable conditions and a highly sheared environment developed ahead of a strong cold front sweeping through the Southeast United States. As this occurred, a squall line of severe thunderstorms tracked over the region and produced large hail and damaging straight-line winds.
