The observer at Newark Airport reported 4.3 inches of snow.

Low pressure along a slow moving cold front off the eastern seaboard brought locally heavy snow to portions of northeast New Jersey. A strong upper jet stream enhanced the snow across the Tri-State as the low pressure passed well offshore.
