Across Orange County snow depths ranged from 4 inches, in West Baden, to 7 inches, a mile north of Prospect.

Wider weather episode

A large low pressure system advanced east behind a cold front. Ahead of the front, widespread rain provided a soaking rain for southern Indiana and central Kentucky. Crashing temperatures during the evening changed precipitation over to sleet, then quickly to snow. There was 1 to 3 inches of snow over much of southern Indiana and central Kentucky. Orange County saw up to 7 inches of snow before snow showers moved to the east during the early morning hours of the 20th.
