The Terrebonne Parish Emergency Manager reported several power poles and power lines blown down on Bayou Gardens Boulevard in Bayou Cane.

Strong low pressure and an associated cold front moved through the Lower Mississippi River Valley during the afternoon and evening hours of the 7th. Numerous reports of severe weather and several reports of tornadoes were received.
