A pre-frontal QLCS moved across south central Alabama during the late morning hours on February 12th. The line intensified as it approached I-65. Atmospheric parameters were supportive of a few severe storms, with 0-6km bulk shear values 50-60 knots and surfce based CAPE near 1000 J/kg.
