An active stretch of severe weather ended with a series of supercell thunderstorms this day along an outflow boundary. High instability and moderate wind shear supported multiple rounds of supercells from Stonewall County northeast to the Red River Valley. Of the few supercells that passed near Aspermont this afternoon and evening, only one yielded ground truth for severe weather in the form of large hail.
