Law enforcement in Kent County estimated a wind gust to 60 mph in Girard.

For the second day in a row, a capping inversion was able to be broken and as a result, severe thunderstorms developed. Similar to the previous day, thunderstorms initially began with mostly a large hail threat, then transitioned to a severe wind threat later in the evening off the Caprock.
