The public shared a picture on twitter of a large barn with roughly one quarter of its roof blown off.

Although the area was in the wake of a MCV, a west to east instability gradient was in place across northern Indiana and Ohio during the late evening of May 16 and early overnight hours of May 17. A strengthening low level jet, MUCAPES of at least 2000 J/KG along with a EML intruding that allowed mid level lapse rates to approach 7 C/km. Sufficent shear exists to allow several supercell type storms to develop and maintain large hail cores, with hail greater than two inches falling in a few locations.
