Showers and thunderstorms developed across the region in advance of a cold front during the 31st. Thunderstorms initially developed late morning across northern areas...then through the afternoon across the remainder of the region. An isolated severe thunderstorm occurred across Northeast Aroostook county late morning...with another severe thunderstorm across southern Piscataquis county late afternoon. Both thunderstorms produced damaging winds.
