The Sheriff's Office reported that several trees were down on roadways in Bible Grove.

Wider weather episode

A large complex of thunderstorms progressed from southeast Iowa into northeast Missouri on the afternoon of July 17th. These storms produced winds of 60 to 70 MPH in Scotland County, causing damage to trees. Additionally, torrential rains of 1 to 2 inches were reported with these storms.
