Thunderstorm winds downed a couple of aspen trees in Spread Eagle.

Wider weather episode

Thunderstorms developed in moist and unstable air ahead of a passing cold front. Some of the storms became severe, damaging trees and power lines and dropping large hail. Torrential rainfall also accompanied many of the storms.
