Event narrative

Two storm chasers documented a tornado that mostly crossed open fields. A NWS storm survey revealed damage to some bean fields as well as about two dozen trees uprooted or broken. No structural damage was noted.

Two storm chasers filmed a tornado in east central Minnesota, in Kanabec County. Earlier, a funnel cloud was documented northeast of St Cloud.
