General snow amounts of 4 to 9 inches fell above 4000 feet with some locations above 6000 feet, recording over 12 inches of snow. Also, wind gusts to 40 mph were observed on the higher terrain. Difficult travel was experienced by backcountry users with periodic slippery, snow-covered, primary roads such as Highway 12 at Lolo Pass.
