A landspout tornado touched down in an open field 7.9 miles south of Neoga at 2:31 PM CDT. The tornado knocked over corn in the field before dissipating at 2:33 PM CDT.

A landspout tornado briefly touched down beneath a developing shower in western Cumberland County during the afternoon of September 1st. Only minor crop damage was observed.
