A tree was blown down at the intersection of Crummy Road and Satilla Church Road. The time of the report was based on radar. The cost of damage was estimated for the inclusion of the event in Storm Data.
Wider weather episode
A surface low forming across the northern Gulf Coast region and parent upper level trough approached through the day as a frontal zone edged southward toward the Altamaha River basin. By late morning, a lobe of PVA moved across the Altamaha River basin near the surface front with elevated instability. This produced a few strong to severe storms across SE GA midday.
