Shingles were blown off a house and a few small tree branches were knocked down.
Wider weather episode
An advancing cold front triggered a line of thunderstorms during the afternoon of May 17th. One of the cells embedded within the line spawned a brief tornado near Elwin in Macon County: however, no damage occurred. Other storm cells produced wind gusts of around 60 mph that caused minor damage east of Robinson in Crawford County.
