A severe thunderstorm produced quarter-sized hail that covered the ground at the post office in McConnellsburg.

Numerous showers and thunderstorms impacted central Pennsylvania on June 4, 2020. Individual cells formed over the central mountains during the afternoon hours, with some displaying supercellular nature. Splitting cells were observed, and there were numerous hail and damaging wind reports. This activity continued into the evening hours, while a separate, diminishing convective line of storms pushed into central Pennsylvania from the west.
One Flash Flood was reported during the evening in Schuylkill County.
