Event narrative
Numerous SNOTEL stations reported heavy snow, including both Brian Head and Kimberly Mine with 1.4 inches of snow water equivalent, or about 17 inches of snow, Midway Valley with 1.6 inches of snow water equivalent, or about 19 inches of snow, and Gardner Peak with 1.2 inches of snow water equivalent or about 14 inches of snow. In addition, the COOP Observer at Cedar Breaks reported 11 inches of snow.
