Event narrative

Bryce Canyon National Park received 13.5 inches of snow. In addition, numerous SNOTEL stations reported heavy snow, including Webster Flat with 2.4 inches of liquid equivalent precipitation, or approximately 29 inches of snow, Sunflower Flat with 2.2 inches of liquid equivalent precipitation, or approximately 26 inches of snow, and Agua Canyon with 1.9 inches of liquid equivalent precipitation, or approximately 23 inches of snow.

Wider weather episode

A prolonged winter storm brought snow to much of Utah with significant snow accumulations to Utah's mountains, northern Utah's valleys, and heavy rain across southern Utah's valleys.
