Event narrative
Public sent pictures of approximately 20 snapped softwood and hardwood trees around property when severe thunderstorm wind gusts moved through the property. In addition structural damage occurred to residence deck due to strong winds.
Wider weather episode
A strong upper level low pressure system moved toward Maine from the west during the early morning hours on the 14th. Strong to severe thunderstorms developed early in the morning and moved eastward affecting the southern portion of the state throughout the day. York County was impacted by a Supercell Storm which brought large damaging hail and localized areas of intense wind damage.
