Event narrative

Several roads were flooded in Apalachicola, including Highway 98 between 8th and 9th Street, 16th and 17th Street, in front of Ace Hardware, and along other side streets.

Wider weather episode

As is typical during summer, scattered afternoon thunderstorms produced a few instances of damaging winds across northwest Florida. In addition, slow moving storms produced flash flooding across the Panama City and Apalachicola areas.
