The Baldwin County Emergency Manager reported numerous trees and power lines blown down across the northeast portion of the county from near Meriwether, across Milledgeville through east of Milledgeville.

Wider weather episode

A quick-moving short wave swept through the Tennessee Valley producing strong to severe thunderstorms across north Georgia in the early afternoon. The strong to severe storms progressed south through the afternoon into the early evening across central Georgia.
