The Baldwin County Emergency Manager reported a house struck by lightning in the 100 block of Colony Farm Road. Due to the resulting fire, the house was a total loss.

Despite only marginal instability, afternoon heating and a persistent, weak mid-level trough over the region resulted in isolated strong to severe thunderstorms each afternoon and evening.
