This report came from the a gas station on the southwest corner of I-29 and the HWY 136 interchange near Rockport, Missouri.

Wider weather episode

Late in the evening of October 11 a strong cold front caused several complexes of thunderstorms to form across southeast Nebraska. These storms moved into northwest Missouri. The winds associated with the cold front itself were above 50 mph, so the thunderstorms did not need to contribute much to bring severe winds.
