Mesonet Station AU939, located two miles NE of Fairview Lanes, recorded a peak wind gust of 49 mph from a thunderstorm.

On Sunday, November 15th, a very potent surface low moved northeast across the Great Lakes region. A cold front initially over Indiana produced a line of isolated to scattered showers, which quickly congealed into a fully developed line of thunderstorms as it progressed eastward toward and through northern Ohio and northwest Pennsylvania. There were multiple peak gusts of 34+ knots along the Lake Erie shore. The highest gust was 69 knots (i.e. 79 mph) at Lorain Harbor Lighthouse.
