Event narrative

Power lines were trees were blown down, and a roof antenna was blown across the roadway on the north side of Live Oak city limits. The time was based on radar.

Wider weather episode

A cold front moved east with strong to severe pre-frontal storms that impacted mainly the I-10 corridor of NE FL during the early to mid afternoon hours where deep shear coincided with elevated surface instability. Decent mid level lapse rates around 6.5 C/km (per JAX 12Z morning sounding) and surface based cape levels between 400-800 J/kg phased under low level shear of around 30 knots with deeper shear values over 60 knots.
