Fallen trees and limbs resulted in a power outage along Highway 27 via the Duke Energy Outage map.

Wider weather episode

A squall line moved across the area ahead of a cold front on Christmas Eve. Limited instability precluded a more widespread damaging wind event, but there were still pockets of wind damage consisting of trees and power lines blown down.
