A period of moderate to heavy snow developed over the north-central mountains of Colorado, with the highest amounts north of the I-70 Corridor. Storm totals included: 27 inches, 1 mile north-northeast of Rabbit Ears Pass, 22.5 inches, 4 miles southeast of Mount Zirkel; 18 inches, 9 miles south-southeast of Spicer, 13.5 inches, 6 miles west of Arapahoe Peak; 12 inches near Climax, 5 miles west of Green Mountain Reservoir, and Loveland Pass; 10.5 inches near Copper Mountain, and 7.5 inches near Winter Park.
