Up to 5.5 inches of snow fell across DeKalb County. The COOP observer in Smithville measured 1.5 inches of snow. CoCoRaHS station Smithville 4.9 WSW measured 2.5 inches of snow, and CoCoRaHS station Dowelltown 5.8 NE measured 1.3 inches of snow.

Rain spread across Middle Tennessee during the evening hours on February 6, with the rain changing to snow as temperatures cooled across the area through the night into the morning hours on February 7. A swath of 1 to 8 inches of snow fell across southern and eastern Middle Tennessee, with the heaviest amounts occurring on the northern Cumberland Plateau.
