The ASOS unit at the Lima Airport recorded a 58 mph wind gust due to gradient winds.

Deepening low pressure moved across the lower Great Lakes brought a tight pressure gradient to the region with gusty winds. The majority of winds were in the 30 to 45 mph range but an isolated gust to 50 kts occurred at the Lima Ohio ASOS.
