Multiple supercell thunderstorms developed in the vicinity of a warm front across the South Carolina Piedmont throughout the afternoon. Despite exhibiting intense rotation at times, severe weather from these storms was limited to one brief, weak tornado, isolated large hail, and straight line wind gusts as high as 85 mph.
